Inspired by early Greco-Roman bronze sculptures of horses and early studies motion by artists like Eadweard Muybridge, who one might call the godfather of proto-cinema. This work is about collapsing time and with the formal and abstract. This tapestry shows the color separation channels of a black and white image of two ancient horse figures. It shows the hidden color in everything and the layers of repetition in art history when it comes to representing an idea. Eons of representations and hidden colors in a stampede.
